- The Limesdowne Club has two (different surface) pétanque terrains for playing boule, located at the rear of The Limes (public house), at Catisfield Lane, Catisfield PO15 5NN, on the western edge of Fareham in Southern Hampshire, England.

- For 2011 the Club will run five league teams,

• Limesdowne Wonders - Southern Counties 6-a-side League, Division 1
• Limesdowne Aces - Southern Counties 6-a-side League, Division 2
• Limesdowne Marvels - Southern Counties 6-a-side League, Division 2
• Limesdowne Leopard Nines - Southern Counties 9-a-side League Div 1
• Limesdowne Lions Nines - Southern Counties 9-a-side League Div 2

Club Night

- Wednesday nights, from about 7:30, for practice. Even in winter ..... ;-)

New players are welcome. Come along and have a go.

Playing Information:

* The First Weds in the month is an informal competition ( a 50p melee). 7:30 sharp
* Visiting and New Boule players welcome
* You need to have a English Pétanque Association Licence to be covered by insurance (new players are covered while they are trying the game)
* Anyone playing more than the odd 2 or 3 times pa is expected to apply for Membership of the Club (and have a EPA licence)
* There are no Terrain Fees - but anyone using the club terrains is expected to patronise the pub while here. Please do not bring your own food/drink.

Club Competitions

You need to be a Club Member (Full or Associate , Senior or Junior) to play in the Limesdowne Club Singles and Doubles Championships
